Well, I have been playing around with SC 7.0 and the only thing missing
7.0 to make me a happy camper is a plugin to allow me to do what I had
accomplished with ShutdownServer in SS 6.5x. Btw, I wonder why such a
functionality is not either native or provided as a "default" plugin in
SS/SC. I feel
I thought people reading this thread might like to know that kdf posted
version 1.19 of the plugin on July 13th, correcting the issues I had
raised.
And the presence of the (server) option when making settings on the SB
helps to clarify the usage.
I think it's really nice now, particularly as th

The ShutdownServer plugin is designed to run a suitable script. The
sample script for Windows is for shutting down, but if you can write a
script yourself for putting the computer to sleep then the plugin will
run it. In fact, as far as I can see, it could run any script you
wanted.

I've done some checking with the new version.
One good thing I notice is that the player settings are now visible as
they should be.
Next thing, which is fine if one knows it is going to happen but is
unexpected, is that pressing Play executes the Open File script, not
the Play File script. I've

I'll check the new version. The previous entry of yours I have seen on
the forum still said that you were about to post it, but I gather you
have now posted it.
As to the business of pressing Stop sending the Play script followed by
the Stop script, I now wonder if this is actually the way SlimSe
please feel free to check the update that was posted last night. I've

I've now done some more checking.

Some more information.
The script "unjiggle" is shown in the Web interface as being set to
execute when power is turned off, and it shows that way in the
preferences.

I am having a different set of problems with the plugin. I suspect I may
not be understanding its action properly.
In particular, what is the difference between Execute on Open File and

d_plugins debugging flag should also show you what the server is trying

make sure you are using basic alphanumeric filenames, no silly things

painful when working on something cross platform, especially when it

Execute Plugin to work with Windows XP and SS 6.5.3? If so, can you
post the changes you made to execute.pm. I don't know what else to

I would need some help getting the Execute.pm to work.
Here is what I have done so far:

Slimserver installation
Created a folder scripts and copied my batch files/scripts (xxx.bat)
in there.
