Hello, I was wondering whether any other person here is running into similar issues as I do when trying to use the iTunesupdate in Mac OS X.
I was initially running SServer 6.2.1 with the appropriate AlienBBC and iTunesupdate plugin. I would be able to play about 2-3 songs before perl started using about 70% of the cpu in my machine and making my SB3 unusable. Restarting the SServer allowed me to once again use the SB3 for about 2-3 songs before constantly freezing up. I further disabled iTunesupdate and everything would work like a champ. I moved to 6.5b1 and the appropriate iTunesupdate & alienbbc plugin and encountered the same issues. When I disabled iTunesupdate, things would work fine again. Here are more details about my system System : iMac G4 1 ghz Memory : 768 meg Library Size : 5800~ songs Currently Running SServer : 6.5.b1 and the standard plugins in addition to AlienBBC and iTunesupdate disabled. Does any body else here have any further thoughts on this issue? With iTunesupdate enabled, I disabled live update of iTunes, but that did not help either. Perl usage once again moved up into the 50-70% vicinity and the workstation by itself became unusable. Is it a matter of my machine just being a bit slow? I am going to try this out in another machine of mine(iMac G5 2ghz) and will keep you guys posted.
