This menu allows you to select a playlist to add the currently selected
item (track or album) to:
a) Current Playlist.
b) Any defined quick-access playlist names are directly listed in
this menu. It is possible to configure these quick-access playlist

Yes. Usually I could skip through Album, Artist, File Type and such
things using the up/down arrows on Now Playing. Within those entries
there was the Playlist Manager funtionality.

That's correct, sorry - I only got round to implementing the New Playlist
option for classic players; not Jive player

plugins (MultiLibrary, SQLPlaylist, CustomBrowse). I have tweaked my
menues on my SB3, Boom and SoftSqueeze with those plugins.
I'm the author of Playlist Manager. I also use Erlands plugins and many other

How are you trying to use it? It's predominantly for adding songs to
playlists on Squeezebox players, not in Web UI.
My main usage would be adding songs from the Now Playing menu on the
SB3 or Boom to the Good Music playlist. I did that on an older version
of SBS already... like 6.x.
