I'm not clear what difficulty you are having. To install AlienBBC on XP it is best to use the Windows installer - this will install the plugin and mplayer. This is the link for 6.2.1 http://www.x2systems.com/alienbbc/AlienBBC-v1.01_6.2.exe
There is no need for separate RealAudio codecs with the recent versions of mplayer as it is built into mplayer. Lame is only needed if you plan to transcode to MP3.
