Well scrobbler & lastfm are working now..
Of course, I restarted slimserver today to get the updated
SuperDateTime running, so not sure if I'm fixed or lastfm is
fixed...

Here's what I'm getting in the debug file (after its found my user
session, etc.:
Scrobbler: Writing song entry to
"C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\PendingSongFile_nicketynick.txt"...
No info about where the communication is breaking down - I'm thinking
its a problem at the lastfm side?
