Just thinking out loud really. I have a squeezebox and a boom,
downloaded the softsqueeze application to my windows pc the other day.
As the PC has an infra-red dongle I thought it would be cool to control
the virtual squeezebox with the same physical remote I use to control
the real one.

Softsqueeze is in community maintenance - there is no organised
development on it. Any bugs fixes or enhancements are supplied by
individuals who feel motivated enough to do the work.

Maybe a mad idea, but how about allowing those with IR onboard/dongle to
use their physical remote to control softSqueeze?
One for the development wishlist?

Press ctrl while moving the remote. Also ctrl-w shows/hides the remote

Hi everyone, newbie here
I am probably missing something obvious here but when I run Softsqueeze
(v3.4) the remote control is on top of the display and I can't seem to
move it. It is even hiding the button at the bottom right of the
display that makes the remote appear/disappear so I can't even t
