I'd installed it and set it the way I like it.
Now, with new streaming, I'm not sure if I need it anymore. Especially
if mid-track joining is in the final 7.3 release.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. A while back I worked a bit on
supporting the "new-steaming" SC7 code. You may be able to use SO in
7.3 if you edit Plugin.pm and set $isNewStreaming to 1. Unfortunately I
cannot test 7.3 for at least a few days.

Your SynchOptions plugins doesn't seem to be compatible with SC7.3 due
to the player re-factoring.
I get a number of errors that eventually cause a server crash.
