I've hacked one together. Seems to mostly do the trick. This is not the official version that Tobias is working on, but I wanted to learn a bit more about settings pages and SC7. It's pretty rough. Use at your own risk. Seems to work for me. It's available at http://www.koldware.com/SlimStuf

On a similar note, in the bedroom I only ever want to use brightness 0 or 1, not anything brighter than 1. In SC settings, I can customise the font sizes to be iterated through, but not brightnesses. Is there a way of configuring the brightness key in a custom keymap to only switch between bri

Let me know if you need any help. Like I said, I've got the main flow mostly hacked, but not the settings page. If nothing else, it's been a good place to try to figure out a bit more about SC7 plugins. Apparently us Portlanders really like the screen to shut down at night Eric -- koldi

Hello all Hey Eric, this is great. However I have not plans to do the upgrade so you would need to talk to Tobias about it. I asked Tobias to answer to this thread about the state of his work. Cheers Felix -- fcm4711 Everyone said: This cannot be done. But one day someone came along who did

I was just about to write Felix about hacking on his Autodisplay for SC 7. I've got a pretty primitive version, not yet ready for primetime, but mostly doing it's thing. No web interface, only programmable from the display. Felix, if you're reading this, let me know if you'd like my changes, or

I understand from Felix that he expects to release an SC7 version of Auto Display, thanks to the work of Tobias Goldstone. As I told Felix, Auto Display is the only 3rd party plugin on my "must have" list that's not yet available for SC7. :-) -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free

Does anyone know if there is an SC7-compatible plugin which will allow me to set an ON time and OFF time for the display, for example, off at 11pm, on at 8am? AutoDisplay used to do this, but it's not updated for SC7 (I tried updating it myself, using "Hello World" as a guide, but was not success
