Hi, doing a restore from file seemed to have worked. The file size is
back up to >6MB. The strange thing is that albums that were already in
the DB and I've since rated/played still have their stats in tact (which
is great obviously) - just unexpected.
Thanks for your help with this issue and o

Yes it overwrites it if the same track is in the backup, I'm pretty
sure it is unless you have only rated tracks that was added to the
library
So doing a 'restore from file' will effectively remove changes to
ratings/play count that I've made since the switch over?
If I do a 'Delete unused statistic' this will remove any trackstat
entries that are out of sync with the DB?
Unfortunately I have no idea what the song count etc... should b

No they contain all songs b
Ok, let me just get this straight... I do a restore from file (using
the older 6.2MB file) that fills in any bits which aren't in the
current trackstat DB. So effectively trackstat only holds data for
songs that are rated/played? I've got the DB query working now and
there are some 'problems' -

It's probably easier to do a backup and crea
No I haven't restored any trackstat data yet.
If I figure out which albums I've rated, could I at least set the
ratings & play count using a SQL query to update the trackstat DB or is
that getting too complicated?
Thanks for the prompt replies.

Did you restore the TrackStat backup ?
The "Remove all data" just gets rid of some data that might be created

Thanks for the reply.
Yes I'm using the default SQLlite DB. I did not do the "Remove all
data" bit from trackstat after the upgrade.
I've installed the DB Query plugin but have yet to find a way to query
and view the results. Will I have to re-install a copy of 7.5 or can I
clear all current
If the files are smaller, you have lost data. The lost data might be
references to tracks that have been renamed/moved and weren't used
before but it can also be real data.
It's hard to say the exact reason without knowing exactly how you
upgraded.
I'm guessing you are using the default SQLite d
Hi,
I've just moved the location of my trackstat backups and noticed that
on 20th Dec 2010 my trackstat backups went from 6.2MB down to 4.6MB.
This just so happens to be around about the time that I upgraded to SBS
7.6. Previously I used SBS 7.5. This is running on a Slackware Linux
build.
