Another difference is that SoftSqueeze is written in java, which is an interpreted language rather then a native one. So in theory, once again, memory and processor load for SqueezeSlave should be lower, ie. it doesn't need any JIT compiler to be running in the back. -- Heimiko Transporter ->

SoftSqueeze is written in Java, while Squeezeslave is in C. SoftSqueeze will cary it's display code around even if you don't use it. Thus the overall memory and CPU consumption of Squeezeslave can be expected to be lower. Michael ___ plugins mailing li
