Would definately cause streams to fail. I don't see this. Does this

No idea - at a guess there is some issue with the BBC AAC servers
although it is odd that Flash/MP3 is ok but Flash/AAC fails. Other

picture and then looking at 2nd line.

I am in the UK and am able to run the standalone iplayer through the
web interface successfully on this machine, which is a mac mini.
Where do I adjust the iplayer settings to disable AAC?

Are you in the UK or outside the UK ?
If you are in the UK - does the problem go away if you disable AAC in
BBCiPlaye settings ?
