At this point I really don't know.
I suspect there's some problem with the module path on OSX, but once the
plugin has appeared, it should stay there.
As before, the d_plugins output from reloading the Plugin Settings page
(or starting SlimServer) would be most useful.

Sorry Dan, you have to actually supply the argument on startup. The
plugin initialisation is only run once.
You'll need to stop SlimServer, open the OSX equivalent of the command
prompt, cd to the SlimServer install and run
Slimserver.pl --d_plugins
