Thanks for answers. The problem is, that debian packages of elements of

yes using calcFact was a quick fix and only feasible because the map
doesnt cover a very large area and the requirement for accuracy was
low.
thanks for the links - I will post back to this thread when I get
around to implementing it.

But at least the standard packages are always a bit outdated for
Mapserver, Postgres/Postgis, GDAL, etc. So compiling them from sources
has often advantages if you want more recent functionality or bug-fixes.

it once was working but I'm not sure any more for newer versions since I
did not use for a while. I'll check it, remind me from time to time or
create a ticket at http://svn.pmapper.net/trac/wiki ...

It is for sure not straightforward and requires sound knowledge of
Javascript. I would like it as well as alternative rendering possibility
but it would need quite a lot of efforts.

Hello,
I'd like to have a legendicon beside my raster layer but I didn't
succeed to manage that.
What I did so far:
- I created a png file as legendicon (18 x 14 pixel) and stored it in
images/legend/
- in map file I added LEGENDICON 'images/legend/name_of_icon.png' in

Hi all,
I want to disable the zoom in option when you reach a value of scale. For
example, with "zoom out" option you have a maximum, and then when you "zoom
out" on the map you get the same result. For "zoom in" you can reach a value
of scale = 0. How can I limit the maximum for "zoom in" is
Great work Alessandro,
I just wanted to do the same. I will try to update it to current
p.mapper version.

Hi,
As I am not such a skilled developer, I have to ask the others - how
much effort would it take to have a "smooth panning" feature as for
example ka-map or openlayers? Or maybe integrate Openlayers in some way?
Is it possible at all? I find it very nice/interesting and I would very
much like to
Hello,
I've commited into mapstorer svn a new plugin that allows automatic
configuration of p.mapper webgis 2.1.1 from mapstorer maps (an independent
installation of p.mapper 2.1.1 is required).
Although the current version of .pmapper use different configuration files, it
should not be too di
