I am using pmapper-4.2 and want to password protect access to maps.
What I am trying to do is: login into a drupal site and then access pmapper
if and only if the user is logged into drupal.
So I putted this code snippet at the top of map_default.phtml
define('DRUPAL_ROOT', '/path/to/drupal'
Good to know you get it to work. Maybe that was a cache problem or
something...
No clue why you need an internet connection.
Though Armin confirmed OSM need to be there for the map to load, maybe that
is the problem if you try to load only vector or raster layers.

Hi all,
The excel export plugin is not working in my pmapper 4.2.0. I have
installed the pear packages and at first it was working fine but now the
php release changed in our server and maby because of that is not working.
When I tell to my pmapper application to download any data table to
excel
without knowing anything about the configuration you're using it's only
possible to make some guessing... one could e.g. guess that you have a
Google layer defined, and without downloading the required Google
Javascript API due to missing Internet connection you will just get
errors from OL.
