probably it is due to mapfile setting. Try to modify OVERSAMPLE_RATIO
in my opinion the way out is absolutely PMAPPER5

It works for me, but map view has quite blurry fonts (satellite has a good
resolution instead). Does it depend on the wms or on mapserver map file
configuration ?
