Why do you have to use mysql? I would suggest to stick as much as
possible to PostgreSQL/PostGIS, at least for geographic applications.

I have succeeded in making to work the spatial extension of MySQL 4.1.
Now I would like to visualize with pmapper the geometric entities (point,
polygon, line) inserted on mysql.
