- PHP compiled with iconv (included by default)
- for p.mapper 3.1: PHP 5 plus support for XML (SimpleXML)
there is nothing else special for p.mapper, and therefore I would
suggest asking such questions about compilation of Mapserver/Mapscript

Is the xpm library necessary for mapserver and pmapper? I have some problems
with compilation of the gd2 with xpm. I have no idea, but other libraries,
like libjpeg, i have installed succesfully.
After the "make" command I have the informations about errors.
