I am Using P.mapper 4.0 with MS4w version 3.0-beta11and kindly asking for help.
The problem
that i have is when i use the zoomlayer=zoomQuery= url key on the local
polygon shape file it works as it should. But when i
try to use the URL key on the oracle layer i get the error in
zoomLayer=countrieszoomquery=n...@1@it...@0@1
zoomQuery parameters (separated by @):
NAME: name of the field to search (upper case for shapefiles)
1: field type, 0 = numerical, 1 = alphanumerical
Italy: search string (case sensitive)
0: highlight feature, 0 = no, 1 = yes

The information on the link you sent me is clear for me.
I try to explane my problem clearer.
I use pmapper 4.0 and shape files.
Starting map.phtm with a query string like

no, there's no workaround, but an existing config setting for this:
Thanks Again Armin, i take the function and work ok, but the other
layers are not displayed, and if i set/unset any frame the zoom are
clear and display all extent.
Im trying to upgrade my version to 3.0 , but if i can solve this with

I don't know if it helps since your error looks a bit strange, but: the
function 'queryByAttribute' and the filters for PostGIS layers have been
messed up in Mapscript/MS 4.10. The required syntax is different from
4.8, and it additionally contains a bug...
In order to work correctly you need
