You were right, the problem was in php_errors and pm_debug logs and, after a
search in the pmapper changesets, I found that the problem had already been
solved by Thomas Raffin, in the Revisions 1273 and 1308.

You need to check the PHP error log since "server error 500" means
typically a PHP error.
