I am sorry Marc! This was not my intention. In fact I thought I
started a new thread with a new subject. It appears as a new thread in
my email client. But I see that it does not in the list

No problem; we're all in it to sort whatever problems appear - though
there do seem to be some nasty hidden oddities appearing
I think I might have come across another bug in pagelist.
This code

matches all the pages
Is there a way to list pages _without_ a category?
I tried here
http://pmwiki.org/wiki/Test/ListPagesWithoutACategory
a little bit, but I didn't really get anywhere.
I was hoping this would work
(:pagelist group=Test name=Ca* link=-Category.* :)
as I'm really looking for pages

Did you copypaste the directive from the page?
yes
What does mean the the in pagelist the group= ?
I'm listing all the pages containing the word the. Not the most
useful list in the world! then follows the groups to ignore
Maybe the pages containing text the should be pagelisted.

I did see the additions in the pmwiki site.

Have there been experiments with text editing like Googles Writely

Greetings,
Looking for help with a technical problem.
I just created a WikiFarm. I wish to use a different Skin on the second
Wiki than the first (main) one. I downloaded the skin to the main wiki's
/pub/skins/ folder. I indicated which skin in the second Wiki's
/local/config.php file.
I would like to update a Skin
Any text editor would do: I use emacs, but really, even the textarea

If you do a manual bookmark (where it queries you for a title and
category), and you do NOT choose from an existing category or create a
new category, where does the bookmark end up?

oops, I deleted it! Pm, could you please restore it!
There was only spam on the page, as was on pages
Samplenewpage and Commentpagelink.
These last two have never been useful pages, and
well they don't look at all like abitmodern!
Hans, they are nice all the same!
More seriously, I found that (thanks to you and Patrick!) they are
good starting points in order to learn how to tweak skins.
Also, because nearly anybody on this list know (one of) them, advices

Hi all,
I have a phpwiki running. It's on version 1.3.4 and when I upgraded my
distribution to Debian Etch lately, phpwiki stopped serving me wiki
pages but opted for error messages instead. They probably have
something to do with php being upgraded, but I'm not too concerned
about *that*.

I didn't get any reply, so I'm resending this (per

As I said before, I've been playing around with PmWiki

generate XHTML, I decided to see if I could serve it
that way. Most things seem to parse fine except for
viewing some of the Site forms directly (which makes
sense).
