Other places for files that needed fixing were pub/* folders associated
with plugins or skins, though for me, only handytoc put files there
that needed changing.
You should probably enabled diagnostics by uncommenting a line in the
local/config.php file:

One of my servers was recently upgraded to PHP 5.5, with the resulting
preg_replace errors. I can troubleshoot it and fix it, but will want to
relocate temporarily to a server running an earlier version.
Will 5.4 work? Any other suggestions?

surprised by other peoples' lack of knowledge and skill in using
software. So I have to simplify things as needed.
Wikis are for writing. Anything that makes that more difficult should
be an option.

When I do a site search on my site, the results are not spaced. I
learned to fix this problem elsewhere by using $titlespaced in the
template, but I am not sure how to fix this in the search results.
