javadocs and cool nightly built jars, and make Glen happy :-)
So, the vote question is:
Do you want to make Gump call the gump target instead of current one
(all)?

As usual, POI will continue to get updates from Centipede and Forrest, and I
will add them to the GUMP build.

I think it is.
Sam, can you help us with this?
Dependencies on code under the Artistic License are OK.
Good :-)
Now that I'm able not to break the build of FOP, Gump does
give me your sourceforge id, I can set you up on Centipede
like the others.
Since all these changes involve many parts of POI, it would be great if you
all could please cross check when the commit is done.
Thank you :-)

I've made two major modifications to the POI codebase
Committed.
On my machine, the test build completes correctly.
AFAIK, this should be sufficient for a commit. If something is broken,
please assure that a valid testcase is in place so
out.
Anyway, now you can see for yourself :-)

Why not make a new test build called testmodule that tests all the
things
that need to be tested before commit? This test should not rely on the
goodwill of the committer alone. If we want quality, and quality *must* be
consistent to be regarded
this
problem (but I just might be wrong).
Do a fresh checkout, run build(.sh|.bat) testmodule and see if it still
happens.

Great tip! The prob is we still need to use AWT and it doesn't give us
the fonts we need on every platform...
Can this be of some help?

the Logger, which, of course, is
null now.
- I propose we usa a Selector to select the concrete ElementProcessorFactory
implementation; now every different impl must be declared by itself.
Enjoy :-)

are Beans on steroids that are made
with inversion of control (IOC) in mind.
I just wrote a simple example on the FOP list on this subject:

For Cocoon, i've set up an automatic notification that run twice a week and
send info of pending patches to developers (once for users).
I can set this up for you too, if you wish, but there is no Bugzilla up for
POI yet AFAIK.
What do you think?
