eat up all available file descriptors, so this can very probably be
exploited to construct a DOS attack.

There's a problem with the regression tests as it seems they don't work
with unicoded wxWidgets, they only support the ANSI version.
I'm ready for inputs on this.

This diff updates avidemux to the latest available release.
Dependency on SDL has been dropped as it's useless.
Tested under macppc.
