Version 0.8.6 VLC is out. It does not compile right out of the box. A
patch or two should be required.
no_dvd is still mentioned in DESCR.

Yes, I know updates to stable are against standard operating procedure
around here but this case might warrant an exception.

The distfiles used by win32-codecs on -STABLE have been removed from the
main mplayer site and all mirrors. I have a hunch the removal might be
security related?
Though -CURRENT was updated 7 days ago, -STABLE is busted because of the

If you mean this to patch /usr/bin/top, that's not a ports@ issue.
Additionally, what does it do? The fact that I cannot look this up in
