there is still an issue with SNDCTL_DSP_GETISPACE that could cause
artsd to crash, but it should be fixed soonish. being able to
actually record at all with
fix configure check (libxine needs -pthread) so we don't end up with
unresolved symbols in libarts_xine.so.
