Hello (again !), Here's a new port for ristretto, a simple image viewer developed for xfce desktop environment. It's quite young, but evolves quickly, works fine here and is usable for basic browsing and slideshows... maybe a replacement for gqview on my system.
www : http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/applications/ristretto It uses libexif for automatic rotation of images, cairo for rendering, and thunar-vfs for thumbnail generation. port : http://gcu.info/~gaston/ports/ristretto-0.0.7.tar.gz Note that it has to be untarred in x11/xfce4 to include x11/xfce4/Makefile.inc.. It RUN_DEPENDS on shared-mime-info for MIME internal use, and on destkop-file-utils because it adds support for viewing jpg/png files to MIME database (@exec update-desktop-database is called in PLIST) Thanks for testing, comments and feedback (and commit !).
