Hi,

I've got an issue with local deliveries.

I've got a setup where local deliveries are pushed to procmail, which does spam
checking (spamassassin). Since the host is rather slow, the spam processing
takes some time to complete (say 10 sec). Now, whenever the server has been
offline for a while and comes back online, the avalanche of new messages (say >
1000 msgs) causes the local delivery to timeout for some messages. This in
turn causes a bounce to be generated, and them message lot.

How do I configure postfix to handle local deliveries better? As there _is_ a
slow trickle of messages though procmail, postfix _should_ be able to just
queue up the messages without involving the "local(8) took > 1000s to complete
, bounce it" logic.

Help appreciated,

/Anders
