I am using postfix as mta and dovecot for pop in debian box. we are
experiencing duplicate mail receiving problem on some accounts. during that
time, if we run *mailq* we found the following output (e.g our xyz user)
cannot update mailbox /var/mail/xyz. for user xyz. unable to lock for
exclus
actually users are under domain controller. but linux will be used instead
of ms exchange. in linux no users will be created, but mailbox will be
create automatically synchronizing with dc. and POP service in linux will be
used as dovecot.
pls advice.

I want to add my postfix mail server under active directory (domain
controller), so that i dont create any user in my linux box, i will create
in my DC, but mailbox will create in linux postfix.
please help, how i will do it.

hi,
i am using postfix. i want to restrict my users that they cannot send mail
using other domain. Like my domain is- abc.com, nobody of my users can send
mail using yahoo.com/gmail com. but have to receive mail from other domains.
is it possible, if so how, pls help.
