Setup a test system with dovecot and postfix, version 3.5.9, intending
to create an "imap server" for local use.
When attempting to send an email to postfix on that box, for delivery to
the local dovecot (via lmpt), the message instead goes out to my ISP in
the fashion of currently working email sever.
Both telnet port 25 on localhost or swaks to localhost, yield same result.
ISP destination is not defined on the test box AFAICT so at the moment I
am stumped.
To (re)configure postfix for dovecot, I followed the examples provided at
https://doc.dovecot.org/configuration_manual/howto/postfix_dovecot_lmtp/
Which does not mention any alterations to /etc/postfix/main.cf at all
