What I did is this:
virtual_mailbox_maps = ldap:/etc/postfix/ldap/virtual_mailbox.cf < gets
the recipient from mail property
virtual_alias_maps = ldap:/etc/postfix/ldap/virtual_alias.cf,
< < gets the recipient from mailalias property
ldap:/etc/postfix/ldap/virtual_mailbox.cf, < gets
