Hi Kresh, LDFLAGS=-lstdc++ is only used by linking (building) librarys. For running apps you only need to be sure LD_LIBRARY_PATH or /etc/ld.so.conf contain the path to your libgeos /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib. You can test this bei running ldd YOUR_APP or ldd YOUR_LIBRARY Gr Ralf -Ursprü
