What exactly is this memory effect?
Specifically in the days of NiCD batteries... If you
did not allow the battery to come to a state of full
discharge before you recharged it, it would assume the
point at which you started recharging would be the new

He might also check to see if the Router IP address is set correctly and I would
uncheck that Load only when needed in the TCP/IP control panel. I've only known

battery reconditioning software, others don't.
My personal opinion? I've never used a battery
recondition

There used to be an old version that would allow you to use an application
for battery reset--ie., you could call it up whenever you

Here it is reprinted Andy:
No, I mean fully discharging the battery by letting it
drain from naturla use, then, fully charging the
battery. When the battery shows that it has a full
charge, leave the unit plugged
Heh, funny, Tom - I remember lining the interior case of my old Radio Shack
Color Computer with tinfoil, after painting it with metallic silver paint,
for exactly this reason. It was considered SOP in the CoCo world! That
little baby could put out some major RF interference!

Folks, when you publish info like this, please back any web-myth up with some

There were TWO incidents in Apple's office, of TWO of Apple's units of the
5300's in which 2 separate 5300 series machines (pre-production units) caught
fire. The ENTIRE problem was related to an issue
