I'm not sure about this, but I suppose it's because your
versions of the browsers are too old for flash 6. My guess
is they will work well with IE 5 or later. Why don't you try
installing a newer version and see what happens?
Keep us posted on your results.

Has anyone else run into
Just searched back through over 2000 messages but couldn't find this
addressed I seem to recall it was a couple of months ago.
Is the solid black horizontal line about mid-way down on a 1400cs screen
fixable? A known glitch? Etc.
Thanks in advance,

Hello, everybody.
A week or so back, I wrote asking if anyone knew the feasibility of using 802.11b
wireless with a 520 powerbook. Well, I've uncovered something interesting. Check this

It's called Wireless Ethernet Bridge, and
They seem to be going for $70-90 on eBay. Seems a bit much for me, for
that you could get most of a newer Powerbook with built-in PC card slots
and a cheap wireless card.

that distance
I recently got a Duo 280c, with which I am very pleased, except for one
quirk. ($15.00 at Goodwill).
It will not run with the battery that came with it inserted.
I can start it up and run it all day long with the battery out of the
machine and the AC adapter plugged in, but the moment I insert

Chris,
Sorry, I won't be much help with your problem, but I
can attest that I am running a 3400 through a Cable

AppleSpecs says that you cannot upgrade a 5300c past OS 9. I don't know if
you will have luck with 9.1. Good luck and let us know if you are successful
running OS 9.1 with a 5300c. I for one would like to know.
