Hello folks, I'm new here. I recently got a Powerbook 520c and I've been
having a blast with it. One of the bits of software that I'm using is a
demo copy of Spiral, a neat little notebook utility that I got with the
disk that comes with the book Powerbook: The Digital Nomad's Guide by

I was recently looking for a case to carry my Powerbook 520c. I didn't
want or need anything fancy, just something that would protect the
Powerbook a bit when I tote it around. I was in our local Fred Meyer store
(one of those general everything stores) when I saw one a zippered 3-ring
I was wondering where I could get a 7.5 boot up disk for my PowerBook
145B? I've gone through the archives at Apple, but have had no luck. I
created a boot on a zip disk, but the usual c key stroke won't work...
Can anyone help me either by showing me where to get a boot (emergency
disk) or

Thanks,

I'm trying to set up ValueFax on my PB 3400 OS 8.6.
Apparently Asente made the modems for the 3400 but they referred me to
Apple for ID of the modem's Class and reset string. Apple drew a blank
too, at least on the first probe.
Anyone know the Class and reset string for this modem?
Thanks,
Hey guys,
I took a couple days and put together a new app for use with AirPort
under OS 8 and 9. Actually, what happened was that I found my copy of
AP Scanner had broken after I upgraded to OS 9.2.2 (I don't know why
it broke, but it did - fresh copies behave the same), TypeXI's website

Grrr...
Well, I found my first bug. Deselecting the Merge non-unique SSID
checkbox results in nothing drawing on the graph. It doesn't crash, I
just think I left that routine unimplemented...
Sigh. It pays not to be tired, I guess...
So, yes, i'm aware of that bug.
Peace,
Drew

My AP Scanner works fine in 9.2.2 on my Pismo. Maybe you're getting
corrupted files. Thanks for the link to your file.
