I know not to long ago someone on the list opened thier battery and
documented the wiring when they replaced the cells. I've got a bad cell or
two here, and was wondering if anybody still had that link, sine I don't
know where to connect one of the yellow wires. I couldn't find it in the

is it possible to build a 3400 PRAM battery from, say, a couple of 1.5v
watch batteries? They sort of look like watch batteries stacked together.
also, please let me know the voltage. I think they're 7.5volts, but would
appreciate it if some could verify.

Incidentally, does anyone know how to open up a PB 1xx battery pack

My PB145 works fine with charged battery, dead battery, or no battery
at all. I just booted it not 5 minutes ago without one. The only thing
that would prevent booting was a bad or totally dead battery. In the
case of totally dead, plugging in the PB (off, not asleep) with battery
over a weekend.

IOXperts' drivers are out, dang it, and I might want to dig up the
