I set up a VGA manual switchbox from cheaper cables (total outlay for
box + cables, $16). It works pretty well except for there is some
slight ghost imaging due to the (I assume) noise on the cables since
they run near the monitors (surprise) and pick up some EMF. I was

I have seen 5300s without the exteral video port. Rare.

Hmm, I guess I should have made that more clear.
The 190cs screen and 5300cs screen are cross-compatible. It
shouldn't be a problem to swap one for the other (assuming they come
with their individual cables).

My PB 190 (OS 7.5.3) came with Claris Emailer 1.0 and Netscape Navigator
2.0, and obviously I have an account with an ISP, so while these are
slightly older versions of the software I normally use to go online (with
my 7200/120 running OS 8.1: Emailer 4.0 and Netscape
