I'm working with this now. The Apple wants 10M the DHCP servers tend to go 10/100 by negotiation, since the Apple doesn't understand the negotiation the DHCP server will not allocate an address. So if you have an old PC with a floppy and a bit of memory go to a computer salvage store and get one 10
