Hello,
I am getting of those these off of ebay and I was wondering, starting off,
what steps should I take to get the most out of this old beast. HD upgrades?
RAM upgrades? etc.
The cheaper the solutions, the better. Obviously, the 520 didn't cost much @

I sure would like to know what a 190 internal CD-ROM is!
The 3400 and 3500s are quite a bit larger than the 5300. The only
appear to be the same in photographs.
Lets not forget that you can install Mac OS 7.5.3 using floppy disks

The easiest way to put a CD-ROM on a 5300 is to use an HDI-30 SCSI adapter

My main goals for the 520 are to get some midi sequencing software running

look at the cables.
Thanks

FYI to Roger,
I just picked up a battery on Ebay that supposedly works with a 3400c, which
is what I bought it for although it's not the same model number as the
original. Cheap, 17 bucks including shipping. Let me know if you want the
url, if you can't find it there. Some
Check around for the different prices on the SCSI adapter. They range from
about $30 to $15 depending on where you look. I don't remember who I got
mine from.

Hello, I've inherited a PB520c. It came in many parts, not one of which was

A G3 Lombard I recently purchased has a clicking hard drive that worries
me. Can someone tell me whether there is a Mac program akin to the thorough
scandisk of PCs that would check the physical structure of the drive?
Thanks for any info.
