File Conversion Question

This isn't a power book question per se, but since I am trying to do it on a 3400c, I thought someone here might have an answer. Simply put, I need to convince Quicktime that a QIF file is not a Quicktime file, but is a Quicken file. Is this a job for Resedit? Or is there something simpler? Thanks

Hi all, I've just bought the back panel for a PowerBook 540c. The hinges no longer attached to the back of the old plastic panel. After swapping out the LCD and the two circuit boards and placing them in the new back panel, the LCD stays dark. The backlight comes on, but the display stays blank. A
