Hi all,
I have a Farallon EtherMac PB Adapter for Ethernet. It connects to the
ADB port for power and the printer port for communications. However,
Farallon seems to be nonexistent now. I
I remember reading somewhere that there was software for the PB 500
series trackpads that allowed you to click by tapping the trackpad,
but I don't remember where. Does anyone know where I could find this?
Thanks!

Hi Listers,
I bought OS 9.2 to install on my 3400c PB. The computer rejected it
because this OS is for G4 Powebook.
Is there a work around? TIA

I forgot to mention that also. OS 9.2
The Lombard and Pismo G3s, which are relatively recent machines, and are
PCI-based, compared to your relatively old, and NuBus-based 2400
You must be thinking either of the 1400 or 2300. The 2400 is
definitely PCI based - it's a cousin of the 3400. It can even be
modified to be CardBus

The PowerBook 3400c does not meet System Requirements for OS 9.2.x,
as specified in the following Apple document:
Thank you Fabian and all listers who responded to my post. Your opinions

Greetings,
I just got a PB 540c from eBay (arrived in the mail yesterday), and I
noticed that the hinges are really loose from the back plastic display
panel. Wondering it there is an easy fix for this? If at all possible,
I don't want to take the LCD panel out of the case. The last time I

The hinges are probably broke or else the plastic is cracked where
the screw goes in. To fix either problem, you either need new hinges
or a whole new back panel. There is no easy fix; believe me. Any fix
which involves drilling holes works for a while but doesn't hold up
plus makes the
I was afraid of that. I know where to get a new back panel, just
afraid that once I get the unit replaced, the LCD won't work. I am not
usually this squeamish about doing computer surgeries, but for some
reason this one just didn't work.

Get OS9 Helper http://www.os9forever.com/! I was running 9.2.2 on
my 3400 when I had it. The patch works flawlessly.
