http://www.pure-mac.com/music.html or
http://www.macupdate.com/multimedia.php?sub=2 . They
list shareware, freeware, etc. That should get you
started.

In the System folder there is a folder called
"Internet Search Sites". Pick an appropriate folder
and Place it there. Start up Sherlock! You may need to
check mark it to make it active.

Many of you probably already know about this site for
apps., but those who don't should check it out! They
list processor requirements for each app which is a
great help!

Make sure PPP is selected in the TCP/IP controlpanel
and configure using PPP server. Make sure you have the
correct primary and Secondary Name Server Address in
correctly(get these from your ISP). That should be it!

I recently was given a PB 520 (not PPC upgraded) and I
am looking for apps, utilities and games that will run
well on this machine. If anyone knows of a source
could you please let me know. I have tried Version
Tracker and Tucows but I hate sifting through all the
PPC or OS 9 stuff. Thanks!
Buffo
I also would be very interested. Aside from this mail
list I cannot find enough info, apps, how-to's, and
other resources for my PB520.

I just bought a used Global Village Teleport Gold II
External modem (Model PL510) for my PB 520. The store
said it was a 28.8 but it only connects at 14.4. I can
connect at 28.8 with my SupraExpress. Is there any
way of telling these apart by the names or Model #?
