Don't know which version of OS you are running but when I hooked up one when I was running either 8.6 or 9.1 I needed to download a patch or new version of the software for it to work. My scanner came with version 3.xx on the downloaded software was 5.xx something. Hope this helps. rpadv wrote:

I have sold those adapters before and there are two types. I believe one is 29 pin (no switch on it) and the other is 30 pin but it had a switch on it that allowed you to switch between scsi disk mode and regular scsi. Also it had a little led that lit up when in scsi disk mode. I do know there
