Hi Chuck (et al,)
The charger that Grizzlygiant mentions below is an excellent unit. I
have 4 of these charging a variety of NiMH batteries here at my house.
They do a very nice job of charging and keeping the batteries charged
without burning them out. I use the NiMH batteries in just about al
Hi all,
I'm looking for the Apple Service Source or a website with take apart
instructions for a clamshell iBook. Basically, the plan is to replace a
bad modem, but it would be nice to have the full manual in case there

selling your 520c and buying a 540c...

Hi Gene,
I'm using a WaveLAN Silver card in my 1400... connecting to Earthlink DSL
through an SMC 7004AWBR wireless works perfectly. I'm using the WaveLAN
driver on OS 8.6.

Actually, these instructions are included in the box with the accelerator.
I purchased a 400 MHz model and had to follow the exact same
instructions. I did the normal power manger reset and the unit did not
work.
I managed to get the button held down with a screwdriver and some tape.

Hi Donna,
Type 2 errors typically mean one of two things:

I had the same experience with MacZone which is why they are off of my
recommended list.
I'd recommend MacConnection and MacWarehouse as both have been prompt and
courteous when I've purchased from them in the past.
Just say no to multiple zones
