After getting my powerbook to run a wireless internet connection I was a
little dissapointed to see how slow the web browsers run. I know this is not
related to my connection speed as when I download a file it just flies
Long story short:
I just upgraded a somewhat beat 1400 with a G3 processor, more RAM and a
bigger hard drive. Pretty basic stuff. It turns out this unit's pcmcia slot
does not seem to recognize the wireless card. It appears to be defective in
that when I push the little button to eject the card -
