Bought an APS on ebay, Came tightly shrink wrapped but inside showed evidence of having been opened. Power adapter turned out to be 240v to 9v.
First question, is the APS a 9v system? Second question, is APS "power on" indicator light supposed to be "red".
Bought a universal power adapter and set to 9v Connected via S-Video. Get only grey screen with vertically scrolling dark bands.
Advise appreciated.
I have just taken a look at an Apple Presentation System package. The power adapter reads:
Direct plug-in class 2 transformer
Input: 120v AC, 60Hz, 18w
Output: 9v DC, 1000mA
