Thanks Greg, for that idea. As you predicted, the whining stopped when I unplugged the adapter. So far so good, but all screws (at least the ones accesable under the kb)seem nice and snug. Having the keyboard out did help me narrow the source of the whine to the rear of the pb, though. I'll be

Hi List, After a friend got a new Ti book, he dropped his 3400 off to me (nice guy), but it is not without a problem. About 2-3 minutes after putting it to sleep, it will emit a medium-pitched whine. Real funny thing is, I don't think it's coming from the speakers...it happens even if I put a m
