Kewl Brian! HFS+ helps. I hope you have partitioned it also. It saves wear and tear on the drive. The system does not have to scan as large of an area to find what it needs. So the OS should feel snappier. I name my drives for easily remembered characters. Some for characters in the carto

Turns out neither 9.1 CD I had would boot. 8.5.1 would, so that's where I am now. There wasn't much interactivity, only a choice between Mac standard or Mac extended formats for the drive. I chose standard since I didn't know the difference. So the drive works, I am back to 80 megs of RAM and i
