3400c PMU board the same as Kanga?

Question for the list: I want to replace the power manager board on a Kanga. Will a PMU card pulled from a 3400 work? I know the form factors are the same, but I've read various opinions on whether the PMU cards themselves are indeed interchangeable. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks,
