Hmmm, I don't know how many of you actually have AirPort software running on your macs, but maybe some of you will find this interesting.
I've been programming some companion software to go along with AirPort over the past week. The first updated version (fixed bugs, glitches and added a few features) is out on my website. <http://homepage.mac.com/alk/classicstumbler/> The website isn't pretty, but it gets the point across. It's free, so if you're using AirPort on your Mac, take a look. I'd really appreciate feedback so that I can make this tool the best I can make it. The system requirements are: - AirPort Scripting scripting addition must be installed. - AirPort software version 1.3 at least (probably works with any version, but I can only test it with 2.0.4 - let me know what it works with!) - An AirPort capable Mac. This includes iMacs and PowerMacs with the AirPort card built-in, PowerBooks and iBooks w/ an AirPort card, and any PowerBook with 32-bit PC card slots (2400, 3400, G3, Wallstreet) and the WaveLAN Gold or Silver PC card. - Mac OS 8.6 (or whatever you can get AirPort to run on) and AppleScript. - 2MB free RAM. - 2MB free hard disk space. And, heck, even if you can't use it, go take a peak at my screenshots and let me know what you think of the software, good or bad. Please? I can't make it better without help, and I don't have any friends in the area who have AirPort (darn PC users). Thanks so much! Drew P.S. - It's at version 1.1.1 now.
