Dan, I think you have to hold option when you click on the button on the custom selection bit in the top-right of the Powerbook control panel to make it display if it isn't there by default. I certainly have to do that in 8.1. Think I had to do it in 7.5 as well! Would have sent this yesterday

Well now I got AfterDark working properly. But now, when the screen savers appear, a few seconds into them they suddenly slow down to a crawl, then speed up again if I move the mouse. This reminds me of what used to happen on my Duo when I was playing Prince of Persia. I had to keep moving

Processor cycling options can be found in the Energy Saver control panel in recent versions of the OS. I'm not sure, but it may have been previously found in the PowerBook control panel. If you can access it, it will be in one of those places. Since you have 7.5.x, it's probably in the
